Signing this application authorizes a Smart Lights lighting specialist to visit my business and perform the evaluation only; it does not obligate me to pay for any future goods or services. However, I agree to seriously consider the report recommendations, as the evaluation is provided for free through funding from California Public Utilities Commission.

7. What Happens After the Evaluation?
After reviewing the results of the evaluation, the business can choose whether or not to proceed. Businesses that decide to make the lighting upgrades will enter into a service contract and will be responsible for paying costs that are not covered by the Smart Lights subsidy. You are not obligated to purchase any full fee service or other service not funded by this program. Businesses deciding not to upgrade their lighting are under no further obligation.
